A Typical Path Network

The following diagram shows a path network consisting of thirteen nodes (N1 to N13) connected by path segments. Path segments may be straight lines from one node to another, as in the segment from node N2 to node N3, or they can have any number of joints, such as the segment from node N3 to node N10.
